A Dating Site Perfect for Gamers

Some lonely souls use Xbox Live as a dating service. Unfortunately they see little success as that venue is frequented by people who are there to play video games (imagine that). I have always said those people that are looking for a piece of ass a significant other should use a dating site instead, and now I can point them towards one that is just perfect for gamers.
Geek Flirt advertises itself as “the best geek dating site on the web”. Look at all the gamers that have already found their way there :
I recently had to give up Madden football (video game) because I was getting obsessed. I now have a lot of free time on my hands, so I thought I’d give dating a try. (male)
Used to concentrate on frag counts in Quake 2, now enjoying RL as much as possible, but just can’t seem to shake the nostalgia I have for my IRC days. (male)
Interested in: nerds, counterstrike, star craft, unreal tournament, ricochet, lan parties, guitar hero (male)
Videogames are cool, especially MK, Capcom V SNK and Mario Party. (female)
I’m all about organization, procrastination, cartoons, the written word in most forms, Nintendo, being crafty. my DS & itsy bitsy shuffle get me through my days, i knit like i’m already old, read everything i can, play some Wii, hang out with my friends, a little Beirut and some baking, and that’s what I do. I’m currently trying to go to college and go in to Psychology and Computer Science (Dual Major) with a minor in Graphic Design. I hope to combine all three of those skills in to one to become the best Video Game Developer that I can possibly be. If that doesn’t say anything then let me point out that I’m a very huge gamer. I love games, A lot. (male)
I bet my Halo pick-up lines would work like a charm at this site. If I were to post a personal ad, this is what mine would say :
Hi, my gamertag is bs angel. I have a real name but it’s been so long since I have heard it, I don’t remember what it is anymore. Some of my favorite activities are : taking long walks on the beaches of Valhalla, tending to my garden and caring for my pinatas, and playing nice long games of “draw until you can play” Kameo-themed Uno. I prefer stickies over frags. Shotties over maulers. Pull-offs over hammer-ons. Interested applicants should know split screen will never be an option. Anybody who is unable to play on expert need not apply.

I will worry about that stuff later on in life… now is not the time for these things… I’ve never had a girlfriend before.. don’t want one yet! Can’t have one unless I can support her : )

..Alright I lied, Angel’s is more interesting, but i just get nit-picky when people say things like “I need a girl who is jewish and keeps kosher”. In my personal opinion, I think not dating people who aren’t in 100% religious agreement with you is a horrid way of restricting yourself from true happiness. I mean, what if you really met the girl/guy of your dreams and were totally in love, then found out they weren’t jewish, catholic, scientologist, whatever, what would you do? Just up and leave? That sounds pretty dumb..in my own opinion anyway.
I am in no way single; taken, and very much in love :) When your obsession is Halo, and hers is Star Wars, how easy is it to mingle? So easy. ANYWAY, i’ve taken the time to write an ad for my little brother. here goes.

Hi here is the eurpopean answer, we are gamers, talented with sribts and computers etc. but not at all geeks http://www.contactrealm.com our site is actually 3 days old and (now this is not bad for europe, especially scandinavia) have already over 1200 members.
this is pretty lame, clogging up a dating website with fake profiles for your own kicks, I happen to be an aforementioned geek. and crap like this just gets in the way and mocks those that are genuinly looking for something.
The ad I drafted was never submitted to Geek Flirt as I would never post something fake to a legitimate site. It was simply my way of having fun and pretending to participate at a site I cannot use (I’m married and I have a feeling that would land me in a world of trouble). :)
