The Coolest Kid at School on Halo-ween

There was a plethora of amazing Master Chief costumes for sale on eBay during the weeks leading up to Halloween. Dedicated fans that are truly passionate about the Halo series created some absolutely jaw dropping gorgeous Mjolnir armor sets. This Master Chief costume is just a bit different from the others though.

This is a Master Chief costume made for a child. That is not even the thing I am most impressed with though. Look at that handmade rocket launcher on their back. Undoubtedly it was made by the young person that is wearing the suit. That kiddo obviously just poured their heart and soul into that resourcefully crafted weapon. I cropped the image to the rocket launcher only and then enlarged it so we could appreciate the finer details.

That child is obviously very passionate about Halo. I love the time and effort that was put into that rocket launcher. This costume is actually up for sale on eBay right now. It almost breaks my heart to see it separated from that little one. *sniff

Purchase here : gordmcdonald’s eBay Store
Current bid : $35
Auction ends : Nov-10-07 14:02:06 PST
Features :

You are bidding on a hand made Halo 3 Mjolnir Master Chief Armor set. It was made from mat board and cardboard stock and the helmet is covered with paper maché. It is painted with a dark hunter green base and has hammered metallic edges and highlights. The visor is covered with see through gold cellophane. The costume won first prize at its owner’s school and is sized to fit someone 5′ to 5′5″, 100 to 115 lbs.

If you are cruel enough to break this child’s heart, bid on the Halo 3 Master Chief MJOLNIR Armor Kid’s Size costume here (weapon accessories more than likely not included). Just a warning, if they put the rocket launcher up for auction I will have to get dirty, child or no child. I want that thing.

UPDATE : This item sold for US $46.00.

very creative! a little dab of paint on those rocket launchers to match the color of the suit would do good. but it’s a pretty nice start at a young age. encourage kids more to discover what is there to create.

I agree happyhopper. Very creative and awesome.

@ ekettle – Nope, not mine. If this was my kiddo, there is no way I would be selling it!

I think that is amazing. He definitely has imagination and putting his imagination to work by making that costume is incredible. If he continues to do that, using his creativity like that, he will go far. He is a future entrepreneur for sure.
