I made a promise to myself a few days ago to not write any more articles on Master Chief costumes on eBay. And here we are. Fabulous.
I am assuming all the Master Chief costumes popping up at every corner is because of the fact that Halloween is quickly approaching. There are several available right now, but many of them are simply individual armor pieces, or only a foam chestplate and helmet, or just the helmet. This one is worthy of mentioning for the simple reason (beyond the fact that it appears well made) that it is the complete costume.
Another positive thing about this particular set of armor is that it has a purchase now price of $2,000. No $21,000 price tag for this one.

The armor is made of 60 gauge plastic, expertly painted and weathered, and has only been worn once. It has been strapped and padded and is completely ready to wear.
Look, they’re multiplying! I had a dream once where there were lots of Master Chiefs and we, … actually scratch that and file it away under too much information. Anyways, the person wearing the costume in these pictures is 6′2″ and 200 lbs so a little bit under or a little bit over should fit ok. Starting bid on this set of armor is $900 and as I previously mentioned, it has a purchase now price of $2,000. This auction ends Oct-17-07 at 19:37:46 PDT.

The chest should have been buffed up a little bit and the color a much darker green. *sigh* either way, whoever end up getting it will have shelled out so many thousand bucks…
