I am not embarrassed to admit that I am a humongous Star Wars geek. I spent my childhood enveloped in the awesomeness that was the old school Star Wars movies. That being said, my geeky heart skipped a beat when I saw this custom Star Wars Xbox 360 faceplate on eBay.
This faceplate was made by worldwidewebbs, the same person who made the awesome Halo-themed faceplates that sold just a few days ago. About this faceplate, from the eBay page :
“A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away….” Those words were the gateway to my childhood, and the same was true for countless others as well. A frequent customer of mine, and a new friend, asked me to make a plate like this for him, and I jumped right on it. I had no idea that it would be this cool, and that it would knock the “Spirit of Yoda” plate off the top of my Favorite Faceplates list. Since posting the plate in my faceplate thread at TeamXbox (link below to see other plates I’ve made), I have been inundated with requests for the plate.
I just love the old school feel of this faceplate. I would rate this as a must have for any true Star Wars fan that owns an Xbox 360. I may have to throw my hat in the ring on this one. Current bid sits at $31.05 and the auction ends Oct-11-07 at 18:30:00 PDT.
