Today’s giveaway goes away from the path the first two giveaways took you down. Giveaway #1 was the Halo Magnum Pick-Up Line card. Giveaway #2 was the Assault Halo Pick-Up Line card. Today strays away from the Halo pick-up lines and instead focuses on Master Chief’s AI partner, Cortana.
As with all the giveaways, all you have to do to enter is leave a comment. I will be giving away one small thing I have handcrafted each day until the release of Halo 3. You may enter to win your favorite item, you may enter to win a few of the items, or you may enter to win all the items. Only your first comment per article counts (but you won’t be disqualified for commenting more than once) and winners for each item will be drawn and announced after 09.25.07.
Giveaway #3 : Cortana card
The ending of Halo 2 has left us trying to figure out what is going to happen to Cortana. Last time we saw her, she stayed behind on High Charity with the final scene showing us the Gravemind getting ready to interrogate her. What happens next? As we wait for that piece of the puzzle, I was inspired to make a card just of her. The inside of this card is blank.
If you look closely at the picture, you will see I used small crystals for her eyes. I split up the image to portray the mystery that is surrounding her (does she betray humanity?) and used the crystals to reflect the intelligence that is within. You can send this card to the biggest Cortana fan you know. You can save it with the rest of your Halo memorabilia. You can do with it what you like, I just hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!
