Hawty McBloggy’s Halo 3 Final Week Countdown And Giveaways

The final week before Halo 3 is happily spinning away in our disc trays is finally upon us. To keep busy during these last seven days, I have chosen an activity to complete each day. I will have an article detailing my adventures along with all applicable pictures every day for the next week. I hope some of you will do these things with me! (I will add your images to my article if you leave a link to the picture of your final product in a comment.)
I also wanted to use this week to thank all of you that are kind enough to stop by my blog on a regular basis. I don’t use advertisements or make any money through this site so while I can’t give you all something totally awesome and expensive, I did want to do something small. I have been busy crafting various things so I can give away a cute video game-themed gift each day. All you have to do to enter each day’s giveaway is leave a comment on that particular article. While only one comment per article will count towards the giveaways, you may enter each day if you like. Winners will be randomly drawn. I would imagine your chances of winning something are pretty good!

Activity – Rewrite a song with Halo lyrics.
Giveaway – Cortana card (front)
Friday, 09.21.07
Activity – Take a picture of any of your Halo action figures and turn it into a single panel comic.
Giveaway – Queen of the Hill card (front)
Saturday, 09.22.07
Activity – Draw/paint a Mister Chief picture.
Giveaway – Red Ring of Death Condolence card (front, inside)
Sunday, 09.23.07
Activity – Bake a Halo 3-themed dessert.
Giveaway – Plasma Grenade Halo Pick-Up Line card (front, inside)
Monday, 09.24.07
Activity – Make a grilled cheese sandwich with an image of Master Chief on it.
Giveaway – A handcrafted paper guitar in the color of your choice for your Master Chief figure or your choice of any of the above cards
I am so excited for this last week before Halo 3! All of these activities will be a blast to do and I just can’t wait to give some of you these things I have been making. Each day for the next week the morning article will be featuring the preselected activity, and the afternoon article will be the giveaway (including details behind the items I crafted). I hope to see you each day this week!

For some reason I didnt realize its only 7 days. I thought I had more time. Halo 3 is sneeking up on me. I would love to win some of these great hand crafted Halo gifts. You made some cool stuff.

I took those pictures in the middle of the night last night, which is why they turned out so poorly. I am going to take some new ones this afternoon so each day’s giveaway article will hopefully have a much better picture. There are lots of little details in there that you can’t see. Like on the Cortana card, her eyes are jewels!
