Seven Halo-Related Activities to Do Before 9.25.07

There are lots of lists floating around out there of suggested activities to fill your time as the awesomeness that is Halo 3 quickly approaches. I was inspired by reading other people’s ideas and have thus crafted my own list. My personal list is a date specific one and is meant for the week prior to Halo 3′s release. I will be doing all of these things myself and will post the appropriate pictures and/or stories on that specific day.

Halo fanatics know how crucial the number seven is when it relates to our passion that is anything and everything Master Chief. My list has seven activities on it. Coincidence? I think not. The number seven has ties that exist long before Halo, I believe it can be dated back to The Brady Bunch Series. Before I get sidetracked by various math equations, on to my list of 7 Halo-related things to do the week of 09.18.07 – 09.24.07.

09.18.07
Photoshop a picture of yourself with Master Chief.

09.19.07
Make a Master Chief out of Play-Doh. Go for realistic, go for humorous, go for something that at least remotely resembles the Chief.

09.20.07
Rewrite a song with Halo lyrics. Old song, new song, your favorite song, whatever floats your boat. Aaahhh, that makes me think of Row, Row, Row Your Boat. Perhaps I will do that one. Or not.

Take a picture of any of your Halo action figures and turn it into a single panel comic. I will be using my Pink Spartan. Just in case you didn’t already know that.

Draw/paint a Mister Chief picture. Visit misterchief.com for inspiration.

09.23.07
Bake a Halo 3-themed dessert. An awesome advantage to this one is you will have something delicious to munch on at four in the morning after Halo 3 releases when you need a little pick me up.

09.24.07
Make a grilled cheese sandwich with an image of Master Chief on it. Do this just before you leave for your midnight release party. You should probably make a couple so you are fully fueled for your evening with the MC.

So there’s my list. Check back starting on 09.17.07 to see what I come up with for all of these activities. I am sure mine will be absolutely horrible but it should be great fun. I really hope some of you do these activities along with me and post pictures. I think that would be a blast seeing what everybody comes up with. I have a big Halo-themed week planned for 09.17.07 – 09.24.07 including some projects I will be crafting and giving away to some of my readers. I can’t wait! Hope to see you there.
