I am addicted to the Xbox Live Arcade. I believe I currently have 24 games (Puzzle Fighter 2 could have been number 25, I’m not sure) and I love each and every one of the them. My friends like to tease me over my obsession with this feature but I don’t think the number of games I have is unusual. How many do you have, more or less than me? Am I normal? I really should rephrase that question. Moving on.

If you are looking to increase the amount of Xbox Live Arcade games in your collection, Labor Day weekend is the time to do it. Starting today (Saturday, September 1) at 5:00 p.m. PDT, four titles will be available at a discount of 50% off. This special ends on Monday, September 3 at 4:59 p.m. PDT. Titles included are :
- Zuma Deluxe (typically 800 points, on special for 400 points)
- Small Arms (typically 800 points, on special for 400 points)
- Gauntlet (typically 400 points, on special for 200 points)
- Dig Dug (typically 400 points, on special for 200 points)
I highly recommend Zuma if you are a puzzle game fan and haven’t had the pleasure of playing this one. It is an awesome game and much better than Luxor 2. You are this big frog that can’t move but can spin around in circles, you spit various colored balls out of your mouth and your goal is to … nevermind. I really should learn to sell things better.

I think I have 10 arcade games. I have downloaded numerous trials though. I am probably going to get Zuma. I always wanted it, but I felt that 800 points was too much for it. Now half price, I think it might be worth it. And possibly Dig Dug too, mainly cause I’ve never played it before. And it’s only 200 points!
I believe I have 13 arcade games, and I will be buying 3 of these games listed above. I’m a sucker for special sales!! Hey, Gauntlet and Dig Dug are good games… Small Arms is ok…. I’m gonna pass on Zuma though. I’m more of a lumines (i.e. music puzzle games) fan!! : )
I have about 7 I think. I just don’t have the money to spend on them, otherwise I’d have a lot more. I think I will et Zuma though. I played the demo that came on an OXM disc for the original xbox a long time ago, but didn’t want to pay for it. But since its only 400 points I think I might just get it now.
Yeah, that’s only $5. And Zoomy, Dig Dug is less than $3! Great deals.
I guess I see the Arcade games as being similar to the movies almost. With a movie, for a matinée you are paying more than $5 for approximately 2 hours of entertainment. As long as I play these games for more than a few hours, I figure I am getting my money’s worth. And believe me, most of them I play for much longer than a few hours! *thinks about the glory that is Puzzle Fighter 2
The only arcade games I have are Geometry Wars, Alien Homnid, and Mrs. Pacman. I should probably go buy some more though. I guess I might pick up Small Arms or Gauntlet after I’m done messing around with the CoD4 beta.
