Have you entered to win the super rare signed 300-Edition Xbox 360 Elite and 300 HD DVD from Engadget yet? They are giving away this amazing system and entering is quite easy. Simply go to this article and leave a comment about what your favorite scene is from the movie. The contest will be open until 11:59pm EDT on Sunday, August 12th. Read the rules (which include only being able to enter once, otherwise you will be disqualified) then make your post. My favorite scene was where they busted out the blinged rhinoceros. That was so not fair. It’s like they resorted to super bouncing with the sniper to get the win. Cheating bastards. After you make your post there, come back here and tell me what your favorite scene was. Somebody better post something about the hot dude with all the piercings.
It was hard to pick a favorite, but I think for me it was the first or second big battle scene on the beach, where the Spartans kick ass in slow motion. It’s beautiful and elegant, in a violent sort of way.
Oh my god I would enjoy that xbox. In unhealthy ways. Mine was the infamous patriotic “this is sparta” scene, just because all of my friends and i stood up and roared that phrase alongside leonidas in the theater.
Like any contest, I am but a pebble in a vast ocean of entries. Its an awesome console I just dont see myself winning. Plus I dont think I would have the room for two 360′s. :-)
