Granted, there are several improvements being made to the PSP that is being released in September 2007 but the most important one is the COLOR SELECTION. Not just color selection but all caps and bolded COLOR SELECTION. Take a look at these beautiful new color choices for the PSP.
Seriously dude, do you see those colors? I am not sure I have seen such beautiful pastel offerings in the console market before. Not only are the colors beyond amazing but the names of the colors are just as spectacular. Piano Black, Ceramic White, Ice Silver, Rose Pink, Lavender Purple and Felicia Blue are the upcoming color choices. I am going to see what I can get credit wise for trading in my regular PSP so perhaps I can upgrade to that beautiful pink version.
Here are some less important improvements (yes, I am being slightly sarcastic, but only slightly) being made to the PSP for September’s release : (for a more in depth look at the new and improved features, head on over to Portable Video Gamer)
- 33% lighter
- 19% slimmer
- Quicker game load times
- Improved battery life
- New video output capabilities (you will now be able to hook it up and play it on a big screen tv)
There are also a few special edition bundles that will be coming out later this year, including a Star Wars version. As a Star Wars fan I have to admit this one is pretty bad ass.

A giant thumbs up to Sony for such a phenomenal range of colors on their new and improved PSPs. It is always nice to see the gaming market remembering their female fans.

What, did Sony just remember that they had a portable gaming system and not a portable movie player? :P This hardware rev is a year late, but it looks good at least. That ice silver is just a bit too sexy to pass up! Now that it actually looks like there are some worthwhile games coming out (hello, Final Fantasy Tactics!), I may finally have a reason to get one of these.

Yes this thing is still around! LOL … My PSP is the handheld I always travel with for the reason that you can game on it as well as load some music on it as well.
Devindra, if you like Final Fantasy, they are coming out with a “Final Fantasy VII 10th Anniversary Limited” edition. There are some good pics with that article.

For some reason, I hate the pastels. I would have liked it better if they opted for bright bold colors like red, apple green, or hot pink. In that case i’ll run to the store and get the hot pink!

I am just the opposite as you! I prefer the softer colors, although I must admit an apple green sounds pretty cool. I bet that would look awesome.
