Top 10 Guitar Hero Moves at WSVG Dallas

When you play Guitar Hero, how far into the fantasy do you go? Do you simply try to hit the right notes or are you the ultimate rock star? Do you play sitting down on the couch only moving your fingers, or do you play standing up and truly rocking out? I fall somewhere in the middle. When playing on expert, I have to concentrate so hard I stand as still as a statue. On the songs I really like on the easier settings I tend to get my groove on a bit more and mainly just bounce around a bit, shaking my booty while I strum.

The World Series of Video Games was held in Dallas about 3 weeks ago, and some of the awesome moves that the players competing in Guitar Hero 2 pulled off left the crowd temporarily speechless. People gasped and cheered as the competitors dazzled their fans with their 1337 skills. I am going to a LAN next weekend where I will be playing this game. Perhaps I will study these moves a bit and see if I can’t work them into some of the songs.

AmpedeSports recently wrote an article detailing the Top Ten WSVG Dallas Guitar Moves. Their list includes fret teething, shoe strumming, stage diving, table jumping, and air humping among others. Along with their top ten list, they also give credit to the competitor who pulled the move off, a description of their amazing skill, what song they were playing when they performed their special move, and a score. It’s an awesome list and an entertaining read. Perhaps you will discover a new move to impress the chicks with. Head on over to AmpedeSports to read the complete article.

Just an fyi, I wrote this whole article with my keyboard behind my back. Cause that’s the way I roll, yo.
