Lego Teaser Trailer

The other day I saw a story over at halo.bungie.org about a teaser trailer for an upcoming Halo Lego animated feature. Being an ardent Halo and Lego fan myself, I eagerly checked it out. It looks pretty cool, the only downside being Kooberz, the person making the movie, isn’t sure when it will be completed. He mentions either August of this year or perhaps even next year. He also states “the model in this film is being featured in the Halo 3 Legendary Edition Bonus DVD”. Wouldn’t it be awesome if he scheduled his movie to be released in early to mid September? That would be the perfect way to entertain yourself as the days leading up to Halo 3 slowly inch closer.

I checked out his Brickshelf Gallery and he has tons of pictures of the building process. Definitely make a stop there if you like to see that behind the scenes sort of stuff. He has obviously spent a lot of time on this project and it looks like it is paying off nicely. It’s cool to see all the work he put into each piece and seeing it all come together. He does need to make his bed more though. Moving on.

Until the release of the movie, we will have to be satisfied with his Lego Teaser Trailer. It doesn’t show much, hence the title of being a teaser, but it certainly builds the suspense well. When he releases his movie, I will definitely be watching it. Let’s just hope his bedroom is a bit more presentable.

Wow, I missed this one somehow.
Anyways, this looks really sweet. Stop animation is always entertaining to watch. Reminds me of this show on local access where some kids I know used Legos to tell their story.
On a personal note, we were debating whether or not to make a Halo level out of Legos and put it in as the scenery for one of our fish tanks a couple months back. I don’t know how Legos would hold up underwater with fish though. Something like Relic or on of the bases of Sanctuary would loook cool I would think.
Now if only there was a real thing…
