Red Ring of Death Condolence Card

Xbox 360s continue to break at an alarming rate, but I have been at a loss trying to figure out how to adequately relay my sympathies. As a supportive friend, you know you need to say something but you also don’t want to say the wrong thing. You know enough to not use phrases like “It was simply her time to go” or “Time heals all wounds”. However in difficult situations the right words are often hard to come by. I realized the most important thing was relaying the fact that you are there to support them in their time of need so with that in mind, I created a “Red Ring of Death Condolence Card”.

  1. NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! It’s a sweet card, very thoughtful. But I hope you won’t have to send me one! “360s continue to break at an alarming rate.”?????? So much anxiety……I don’t know if I can withstand this…..should I start putting money aside for an Elite now?

  2. The bling on the front makes the card.

That situation right there requires a whole different sort of card. Something with a band-aid. Ouch.

  17. …The red ring is deadly?

Do you know someone who is showing signs of getting the ring?
You know, a sad face, an empty wallet, and sore thumbs?
No, not that kind of ring; I’m talking about the Xbox 360’s now infamous red ring of death.
If you do know someone who has suffer…

LOL! Except Not, because I have the Dead Box Now. LOL at Zoomie-and say something to her about not playing WoW when the 360 dies! :D
I love you bs! I love your cards! They rock! I think game companys should make more cards-MasterChief says “Happy Birthday” etc etc.

  19. Nice card. I’ll need two, please. :)

My retail 360 got the RRoD, and my repair center 360 got the RRoD. I’m hoping the next 360 they send me will be RRoD free. :)

Thanks for the links! I heard about the Joystiq one a few hours ago from a friend, but I hadn’t seen the Wired one yet. You have a great memory to remember the original article on the card. Much appreciated. :)
