Despite my passion for anything and everything Halo, I don’t classify these as must haves. Their current wireless headset is far from optimal. Any time I play with someone that uses one, the feedback and humming is beyond annoying. I still use my Halo 2 headset (I am only on my second one despite almost daily use for a couple of years now) and am currently in the market for an adapter that will allow me to adjust the volume and have a mute option. The controllers are pretty cool but I would prefer a blinged one over those. Now there’s a project, a blinged Halo 3 controller. *ponders the possibility

I have the wireless headset, and I love it. But I wouldn’t buy another one simply because it is painted olive green. I don’t know about anyone else, but I don’t stare at my controller or headset when I am playing a game.
