I have been quite excited about the multitude of color choices available for your character on the Halo 3 Beta. If you play with me, you will hear me discuss this topic quite frequently. I am passionate about colors and color coordination, what can I say? One of the best parts of the color selections is their names. They are not simply called their basic names. They have been given wonderfully descriptive terms that cause you to picture beautiful things in your mind when you read them. Orchid, lavender, coral, … Does it get much better?

Here is a complete list of the colors you can choose from for your Spartan, starting at the top left and continuing the same as you read a book. With this list I have included the color I recommend you use as your secondary. Cause I’m nice like that.
- Steel – White as secondary
- Silver – Pink as secondary
- White – <your favorite color> as secondary
- Red – Teal as secondary
- Mauve - Crimson as secondary
- Salmon – Mauve as secondary
- Orange – Blue as secondary
- Coral – Pale as secondary
- Peach – Tan as secondary
- Gold – Brown as secondary
- Yellow – Crimson as secondary
- Pale – Green as secondary
- Sage – Violet as secondary
- Green – Olive as secondary
- Olive - Lavender as secondary
- Teal – Sage as secondary
- Aqua – Teal as secondary
- Cyan – Pale as secondary
- Blue – Gold as secondary
- Cobalt – Sapphire as secondary
- Sapphire – Blue as secondary
- Violet – Pale as secondary
- Orchid – Green as secondary
- Lavender - Violet as secondary
- Crimson – Pink as secondary
- Rubine – Silver as secondary
- Pink – White as secondary
- Brown – Pale as secondary
- Tan – Pink as secondary
- Khaki – Sapphire as secondary
*If the color is too light for you to read, simply highlight it. I left white as is for obvious reasons.

I’m still partial to my crimson and white however I noticed they did change the tone on that particular color a bit. It’s definitely not the same crismon from Halo 2 but I still like it.

I agree. Even selecting that color and then looking at your Spartan, it looks slightly different. It seems to have more dark red undertones to it than it does in H2. More of a brick red almost.

Orange and Blue FTW!
I can’t wait to see the complete customization set-up when the game ships.

Gold-Brown looks like a winner..

The Khaki-Sapphire is kinda nice too! But Gold-Brown has humongous potential for a third coordinating color also within the avatar.

I don’t agree with many of your color combos, honestly, but about the crimson. Crimson is SUPPOSED t obe more a of a brick color. Wolf out.
