For Star Wars Fans Everywhere

There was an article titled Wii’s winning formula posted at FIN24 on May 27th, 2007. It details the typical reasons of why The Nintendo Wii has been so successful on several different levels. What isn’t typical however is this little morsel buried in the middle of the article.
The head of the LucasArts, the game division for “Star Wars” series creator George Lucas, told AFP a Wii game that lets players wield virtual light sabers is on the horizon.
Did you get that? A game that you can wield a virtual light saber?! Dude. DUDE. We all have our light sabers laying around the house that we enjoy playing with. Some of us have blue ones, red ones, purple ones, green ones, orange ones, double blade ones, electronic ones, and ones that make noise. Is there really anything better than reenacting the Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Darth Vader battle on Mustafar? Maybe Yoda vs. Darth Siddius? Or Luke Skywalker vs. Darth Vader? Obi-Wan vs. Grievous? Obi-Wan and Anakin vs. Count Dooku? Qui Gonn vs. Darth Maul? Alas, I get carried away.

I refuse to believe that there is anyone that grew up in the prime Star Wars era that would not absolutely love the chance to play a video game that you got to a wield a light saber. All I have to say is when this comes out, however far away it may be, they better have light saber controllers. Cause I would buy them all. And I would kick some major Sith ass.
“The Force is strong with this one.”
You don’t even know.

Uh…. yes please. Like right now.
This would only be the best game ever!
We got a Wii last week and it’s still fun playing Wii Sports. I could only imagine if I got to use the Force.
I think I’d have to dig on this if it happened. I have at least seven light-sabers, and Gryphon won’t let me buy any more–this would be the perfect excuse.
It’s a must have game
awsoooooooooooooooooooooooooome
If that game comes out I will buy a Wii for it
When did they have Orange ones?
