I recently stumbled upon some stunning Halo 3 artwork done by Pavel Dolgov and found out he offers his services to the public via Ebay. For $96 (+$9 shipping) you will receive “the service of custom painting an Xbox 360 faceplate with the artistic design you want and signature using a hand brush technique and acrylic paints”. His work is truly magnificent. Here are some of the faceplates he has already completed :

I find his pieces simply beautiful. If I were to purchase one of those, I am not sure what picture I would choose. And I’m unsure if I would actually mount it on my 360 or simply display it. Isn’t it amazing how these faceplates can be such one of a kind wondrous pieces of art?

first saw this guy’s work on HBO, and was amazed then just as I am now. Those faceplates are incredible – I want one!
